Biografia
Carina Lau Kar-Ling (chinês: 劉嘉玲; nascida em 8 de dezembro de 1966) é uma atriz e cantora canadense de Hong Kong. Ela começou sua carreira de atriz na TVB, antes de alcançar sucesso no cinema após seu 2º ano de faculdade. Ela foi notável na década de 1980 por seus papéis do tipo garota da porta ao lado em filmes. Ela também interpreta a Imperatriz Wu Zetian nos filmes Detetive Dee de Tsui Hark, começando com Detetive Dee e o Mistério da Chama Fantasma em 2010. Ela ganhou prêmios de Melhor Atriz no Hong Kong Film Award e no Golden Rooster Awards da China Continental, e foi indicada no Festival de Cinema de Cannes e no Golden Horse Awards de Taiwan.
